Come in for gelato made the slow way.
Small batches, no shortcuts. Nick trained in Bologna and makes every pan here in Sewell with fresh local milk and ingredients from Italy. More than a hundred flavors in the rotation, no preservatives anywhere, and a cozy corner of Tuscany waiting on Greentree Road.

Fresh from the case.
What’s in the case right now.
The case changes with the seasons and rotates through more than 33 flavors, so there is usually something new waiting for you. This list comes straight from the menu board in the shop, so it is always up to date.

Nick & Kim · San GimignanoWe’re Nick and Kim.
Dolce Vita began with a cup of Amarena gelato on a trip to San Gimignano, Tuscany. Nick went back to Italy, enrolled in an advanced gelato laboratory in Bologna, and learned the craft from master instructors.
What he brought home is the shop you walk into today: a proper Italian gelateria and caffè, a hand-painted mural of the Tuscan hills, and a promise to use nothing but the best. Fresh milk from local farms, pistachios from Sicily, hazelnuts from Piedmont, coffee roasted in Naples. No flavored powders and no preservatives.
This isn’t just about gelato. This is about the delightful experience of the Italian lifestyle.Nick Corso, gelato maker

A little Italian piazza, indoors.
Kim built the room around a mural of San Gimignano by local artist Steve Morrone. Café tables, a proper espresso bar, and walking tours of Italian villages on the screen. Take a seat and stay as long as you like.
Plan a visitMade from scratch, daily
Every pan starts with fresh milk and whole ingredients. If it is in the case, it was made here this week.
Denser, creamier, lighter
Gelato is churned slowly with less air and less fat than ice cream, and served a few degrees warmer, so flavor hits first.
A little piece of Italy
Espresso at the bar, a Tuscan mural on the wall, and village walking tours playing on the screen. Stay a while.
Gelato cakes and mini cones.
Whole cakes made in the shop, and trays of little cones dipped in chocolate. Order a couple of days ahead.
